Bible Study Groups

Christianity is meant to be relational:

1st — on a vertical axis between ourselves and God; and
2nd — on a horizontal axis between ourselves and those around us.

Small group Bible studies move us from being spectators in a weekly church service to active participants in a like-minded community dedicated to spiritual growth.

As we encounter God’s Word together, we have an opportunity to share our different perspectives and insights and are broadened because of the interaction. More information is retained when there is active involvement, so biblical literacy is enhanced. Also of note: application and accountability bring an understanding that moves God’s Word from merely intellectual to a transformation of the heart. We ought to be encouraged that renewal is possible (Romans 12:2) and give thanks to God that our lives are changed both individually and corporately as we come to know God and his Word more deeply.

Various groups are held throughout the week. Some of the groups that meet are listed on this page. If no suitable group exists for you, please get in touch with the Vicar to flag your interest.
